We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Equipment Maintenance Specialist to maintain excellent relationships with our customers.

**Job Overview:**

The Equipment Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for inspecting and diagnosing equipment, providing quality customer service, and maintaining, repairing, and overhauling farm and construction machinery and vehicles.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide exceptional customer service to existing and new customers
  • Inspect and diagnose equipment to identify errors or defects
  • Maintain, repair, and overhaul farm and construction machinery and vehicles
  • Dismantle defective machines for repair using hand tools
  • Test and replace electrical components and wiring using test meters and hand tools
  • Clean and lubricate parts
  • Tune or overhaul engines
  • Travel to customer sites for repair of machinery as required
  • Examine and listen to equipment and confer with customers to locate malfunctions
  • Record details of repairs made on Repair Orders
  • Conduct thorough self-checking of work and documentation
  • Adopt continuous learning and improvement processes
  • Perform any other duties reasonably required by management

**Requirements:**

- Minimum two years' recent trade experience

- Experience within the heavy automotive/plant industry

- Demonstrated diagnostic skills

- Strong work ethic

- Sound communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a team environment and autonomously

- Committed to undertaking duties efficiently

- Professional personal presentation

- Valid driver's license (HR advantageous)
