Bioinformatics Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our bioinformatics services and activities, manage bioinformatics projects, and deliver outcomes aligned with our service offerings.
The successful candidate will design and oversee bioinformatics pipelines, develop new service offerings, and improve methodologies in collaboration with the team.
They will translate complex data into actionable insights, interact with customers to ensure our service offerings meet requirements, assist with implementation, and streamline organisational processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead bioinformatics services and activities, manage bioinformatics projects, and deliver outcomes aligned with service offerings.
- Design and oversee bioinformatics pipelines, develop new service offerings, and improve methodologies in collaboration with the team.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights, interact with customers, assist with implementation, and streamline organisational processes.
- Master's degree in Bioinformatics or similar field, or progressing towards a higher qualification.
- Experience in High Performance Computing environments and fluency in programming languages such as R, Python, Perl.
- Evidence of high-quality publications that include bioinformatics analyses such as genomics, transcriptomics, and protein structural modelling.
- Ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders through technical services.
- Demonstrated experience in leadership, project management, and analytical skills.
