Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to serve as a functional consultant for Dynamics Business Central implementation projects.

This role involves providing expertise and guidance to the implementation team, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry best practices.

  • Serve as the key resource for clients throughout the project lifecycle, delivering tailored solutions that meet their specific needs.
  • Conduct discovery workshops to understand client supply chain processes, identify pain points, and develop targeted solutions.
  • Facilitate scoping sessions to accurately capture and address customer requirements, ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Lead pre-sales presentations and discussions to showcase the capabilities and benefits of Dynamics Business Central to potential clients.
  • Develop design documentation for client approval and create as-built documentation for future reference.
  • Collaborate with project managers to plan and coordinate project sprints and development efforts, optimizing resource allocation and ensuring timely delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience in a similar position working with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, including implementation, customization, and configuration.
  • A proven track record of leading Dynamics Business Central projects from initiation to completion, focusing on delivering high-quality solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Experience in conducting discovery workshops, scoping sessions, and pre-sales presentations to gather client requirements and propose suitable solutions.
  • Strong functional expertise in Dynamics Business Central modules, functionalities, and integrations, enabling the design and implementation of complex solutions.
  • Advantageous but not essential - In-depth knowledge of supply chain planning, procurement, sourcing, manufacturing, shop floor management, order management, pricing, warehouse management, and fulfillment.
  • Desirable - Previous experience in Manufacturing, MRP, or Advanced Warehousing projects.
