Industry professionals seeking a challenging role will thrive in this trade assistant position.

The ideal candidate will join a busy workshop environment, working collaboratively with a dynamic team that prioritizes quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform maintenance tasks as required, coordinating efforts with the maintenance department when necessary;
  2. Verify job cards for accuracy upon completion, adhering to protocols;
  3. Ensure clean and organized working surfaces for optimal productivity;
  4. Optimize item positioning in machines for efficiency;
  5. Assemble and dismantle items as needed, following process requirements;
  6. Inspect parts for cleanliness and previous inspection clearances;
  7. Process relevant paperwork for heat-treated items;
  8. Maintain 5S principles in the department;
  9. Conduct regular inspections on jigs and fixtures.

The successful applicant will be highly motivated, committed to our safety management system, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement while working effectively within a team and independently.

Requirements and Skills:

  1. A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role;
  2. Forklift certification and experience are highly desirable;
  3. Practical skills and ability to work methodically;
  4. Ability to follow detailed instructions and operate technical equipment;
  5. Awareness of safety and quality standards;
  6. Good numeracy and computer skills.
