About the Role

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team in the Southern Fleurieu Peninsula area. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our clients, assisting with activities of daily living, and providing support services in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote client choice and positive routines, ensuring activities are meaningful to the client.
  • Work shifts in set time blocks/pattern rostering.
  • Drive client/company vehicles.
  • Support clients to enhance their life choices, both at home and in the community.
  • Report changes in client health, care plans, or additional services needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with policies, procedures, and activities across Calvary.
  • Ensure the health and safety of yourself and others in the workplace.
  • Maintain client dignity and privacy.
Requirements
  • Completed a minimum of Certificate III in Individualised Support, Home & Community Services, Aged Care, or equivalent.
  • Current full driver's license.
  • Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate & CPR.
  • Living in the Southern Suburbs or on the Southern Fleurieu (highly desirable).
  • Reliable motor vehicle, including valid registration and full comprehensive third-party insurance.
  • Smart mobile phone or device.
  • NDIS Clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Police Clearance (within 6 months or willingness to obtain one).
  • Access to the internet and experience using a computer, systems, and applications.
  • Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself.
