About the Role

As a Support Worker with Community Support Incorporated, you will provide a wide range of in-home support to our clients, including assisting with personal care needs, domestic activities, transportation services, and social support.

Some shifts may also require assisting clients with complex personal needs; training is provided to all Support Workers prior to providing complex personal care shifts.

Please note that as a Support Worker, you will be required to have and be willing to use your personal smartphone for work purposes, as well as a reliable and safe motor vehicle (if providing transport shifts).

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Provide person-centred care to clients with disabilities, including assistance with personal care needs, domestic activities, and social support.
  • Assist clients with complex personal needs, with training provided prior to providing complex personal care shifts.
  • Use personal smartphone for work purposes and have a reliable and safe motor vehicle (if providing transport shifts).
  • Hold a current DHS Child-Related or Disability Clearance and Working with Children Check.
  • Hold a current valid Police Check (within the last 6 months).
  • Hold a current First Aid Certificate.
  • Hold an unrestricted Drivers' Licence and a roadworthy-ensured vehicle (if transporting clients).
