Job Title: Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our payroll department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of payroll processes and ensure timely completion of scheduled payroll runs.
  • Handle reconciliation process with associated reports, ensuring compliance with relevant controls and accuracy of payroll data.
  • Monitor statutory and legal changes in Australia and work closely with country payroll managers to implement timely adjustments to our payroll system.
  • Assist country payroll manager in performing self-audit, risk management, and control management over operations' effectiveness.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects, cost reductions, and process performance improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • SIGNIFICANT WORK EXPERIENCE IN COUNTRY PAYROLL OPERATIONS (AUSTRALIA LEGISLATIONS)
  • PROFICIENCY IN MICROSOFT EXCEL AND WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF SAP HR/PAYROLL SYSTEMS
  • EXCELLENT PLANNING AND ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS WITH ABILITY TO MANAGE MULTIPLE PRIORITIES EFFECTIVELY
  • PROVEN EXPERIENCE IN DRIVING AND SUSTAINING SERVICE EXCELLENCE WITHIN A TEAM OR ORGANIZATION
  • EXCEPTIONAL ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND COMMITMENT TO QUALITY
  • SOLID PROJECT MANAGEMENT CAPABILITIES INCLUDING PLANNING, EXECUTION, AND STAKEHOLDER COORDINATION
  • EXCELLENT INTERPERSONAL AND ANALYTICAL SKILLS WITH COLLABORATIVE AND SOLUTION-ORIENTED MINDSET
  • FLUENT IN ENGLISH BOTH WRITTEN AND VERBAL WITH STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS
