Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our Private Capital Fund Administration team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of fund accountants, ensuring high-quality service delivery and meeting key performance indicators.
  • Oversee the calculation of Net Asset Value (NAV) and maintain the Accounting Book of Records, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for client requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Coordinate and review capital activity processes including capital calls, distributions, subscriptions, redemptions, and share/unit transfers, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise investment activity processing and related payments, ensuring timely and accurate settlements.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of client reporting, ensuring high-quality deliverables and meeting client expectations.
  • Manage performance fee calculations including carried interest, waterfall models, and management fees, ensuring accurate and compliant outcomes.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding of funds and clients, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Monitor service delivery against SLAs and maintain a strong internal control framework, ensuring continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
  • Participate in system enhancement projects and operational improvements, driving innovation and efficiency gains.

Requirements:

  • Qualified professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial services industry and accounting, especially in alternatives fund structure.
  • Strong understanding of fund documentation including LPAs and Prospectuses.
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP accounting standards.
  • Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Proven ability to manage responsibilities independently while contributing to team goals.
  • Experience with eFront Invest is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in private capital fund administration is essential.
