A Content Migration Specialist

This role will be responsible for content creation and migration activities with the following outcomes/accountabilities:

- Migrating content from current platforms to a new platform.

- Working with content owners to review, edit and adapt existing content to meet style, tone and accuracy standards and fit within the new information architecture.

- Collaborating with other members of the team to coordinate content creation.

- Providing input and assisting in creation and ongoing updates of the migration plan.

- Ensuring that old to new mapping is controlled and documented based on the new architecture design.

- Engaging and providing direction to the business on clean-up tasks to ensure each unit meets agreed schedule run dates.

Mandatory Requirements:

- A minimum of 5 years working in a similar capacity.

- Previous experience with content management systems.

- Experience in writing and editing for the web with attention to detail within a complex organisation.

- Demonstrated understanding of best practice for digital content particularly with reference to plain English and accessibility.

Desirable Requirements:

- Experience developing and delivering content that meets best practice standards.

- Demonstrated understanding of information architectures and site structures to support migration.
