Job Title: Content Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled content manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for migrating and adapting content from legacy systems to modern platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Migrate content from current systems to new platforms.
  • Review, edit, and adapt existing content to meet new style, tone, and accuracy standards and fit within the new Information Architecture (IA).
  • Collaborate with content creators, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and IT professionals to coordinate content creation.
  • Provide input and assistance in creating and updating the migration plan and schedule.
  • Control and provide assistance to the business on old to new mapping based on the new architecture design, document the final mapping and obtain sign-off.
  • Engage and provide direction to business on clean-up tasks to ensure that each Teamsite/Business Unit meets the agreed schedule run dates.
  • Lead and manage user acceptance testing of migrated content across websites and intranets.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years working in a similar capacity.
  • Previous experience with SharePoint content management systems.
  • Experience in writing and editing for the web, particularly on intranets, SharePoint, and MS Teams, with attention to detail, within a large and complex organization.
  • Experience with content migration from legacy systems to modern enterprise platforms.
  • Ability to work with content owners to create content for new pages to meet the future state modern enterprise platform.
  • Understanding of best practice for digital content, particularly with reference to plain English and accessibility.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience developing and delivering intranet content that meets best practice plain English, accessibility, editorial, and brand standards.
  • Understanding of information architectures (IA) and site structures to support the migration.
  • Demonstrated experience leading content migration projects in an agile framework.
  • Ability to support training content authors on the future state modern enterprise platform.
