The Role

We are seeking a Part Time Urgent Care Practice Nurse for our Morley Urgent Care Service. You will ensure patients are suitable for the service, triaged promptly, and receive front-line care alongside the Urgent Care medical practitioner.

The Tasks
  • Perform comprehensive triage assessments for all patients presenting to Urgent Care.
  • Take appropriate action for patients requiring escalation due to emergencies or deterioration.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic environment.
  • Provide high-quality, person-centered care in collaboration with patients, families, and medical staff.
  • Ensure patients achieve desired clinical outcomes.
  • Provide health education as needed.
  • Complete documentation accurately and promptly.
The Successful Candidate
  • AHPRA Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 1 year triage experience in an emergency setting
  • Preferred 5 years' experience
  • Ability to recognize health deterioration and escalate appropriately
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking
  • Ability to work autonomously and delegate when appropriate
  • Passionate about patient care with a personable approach
