**Caregiver for Children at After School Program**

The VillageOSHC, a well-established provider of before and after school care services, is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Caregiver to join their team at Mentone Park Primary School in Mentone.

The Opportunity:

Our caregivers play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children from 7:00 AM to 8:45 AM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our young clients and is committed to creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver daily activities that promote learning and development;
  • Supervise and support children during all activities;
  • Prepare and serve healthy food options;
  • Build meaningful relationships with colleagues, families, and the school community;
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III or higher in Children's Services (or equivalent);
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Basic first aid training (HLTAID012) and Working with Children Check;
  • Available to work Monday to Friday.
