The role of a Senior Employment Lawyer will be based in Melbourne, working on a fixed-term contract for a leading financial services company.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert guidance on employment law and employee relations matters, including litigation, regulatory issues, policy development, and complex case management.
- Collaborate with HR leaders, executives, and external advisors to deliver high-quality legal solutions.
- Lead the management of significant employment disputes, representing the organisation in tribunals and courts.
- Contribute to key projects and strategic initiatives with employment law implications.
- Significant experience in employment law, either in private practice or in-house.
- A strong track record managing employment disputes and advising on complex legal issues.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
