Geospatial Leadership Position

The Geospatial Manager will oversee the geospatial services team, providing leadership and training to GIS professionals.

This role is responsible for managing high-profile geospatial projects, including project planning, management, and quality assurance.

The ideal candidate will have an advanced technical geospatial skillset and proven leadership and project management experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provides strategic guidance to the geospatial services team
  • Acts as an advisor to the team regarding projects, tasks, and operations
  • Assists with expanding the geospatial service line technical team
  • Plans and manages project staffing requirements, reports project performance, and identifies and addresses scope creep, schedule, or quality issues
  • Peer reviews and quality assures project deliverables to ensure high-quality requirements are consistently met
  • Continues to expand on business relationships with government clients and partners

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Urban Planning, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a closely related field
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience using ESRI suite of GIS software, including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, and related extensions and relational databases
  • Excellent project management skills (≥ 5 years of project management)
  • Experience in developing scopes of work and proposal responses
  • Experience as a supervisor of technical staff
