
Licensed Avionics Systems Specialist

Airworthiness is ensured by conducting routine inspections and performing repairs on aircraft avionics systems, including communication, navigation, and radar systems.
Key responsibilities include troubleshooting, performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft electrical and avionics systems, and ensuring that all electrical and avionics systems are maintained to the highest safety and performance standards.
- Primary Responsibilities:
- Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
- Troubleshooting and repairing aircraft electronics, including communication, navigation, radar, and autopilot systems.
- Conducting pre-flight and post-flight inspections of electrical and avionics systems to ensure airworthiness.
- Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and engineering documents to diagnose issues.
- Completing maintenance documentation and logbooks accurately, recording all work performed.
Valid EASA Part 66 B2 License or equivalent recognized by local aviation authorities, extensive knowledge of aircraft electrical, electronics, and avionics systems, minimum of three years of experience in aircraft avionics maintenance or modifications, strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with avionics equipment, ability to read and interpret complex wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals, proficiency in using electrical testing equipment, high attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred qualifications include EASA Part 66 B2 License or equivalent qualification, Aircraft Type Ratings on relevant aircraft models, Human Factors certification, Current EWIS certificate, Fuel Tank Safety certification, Updated training on relevant regulations, Type ratings on multiple aircraft types, experience with advanced avionics systems, experience in both line and base maintenance environments, and certification in avionics troubleshooting techniques.
