Job Description

We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join our team at Operations Limited.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with senior leaders to align people strategies with business goals. This includes identifying gaps, developing solutions, and implementing processes that enhance both business performance and employee experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a designated portfolio, advising senior managers on performance management, policy issues, and employee relations.
  • Build trusted relationships with managers to support workforce planning, learning & development, and succession planning.
  • Manage complex employee relations matters, including workplace investigations, pay queries, and performance management.
  • Execute and support P&C strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, values, and strategic projects such as D&I and sustainability.
  • Review and approve employment contracts and letters, ensuring compliance with policies and improving P&C processes.
  • Lead and contribute to strategic P&C projects, including leadership development programs and process improvements.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, or a related field, with at least three years of experience in a similar role within fast-paced, complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation, its interpretation, and implementation, along with experience handling complex and sensitive inquiries with discretion and professionalism.
  • Ability to align HR practices with business strategy, demonstrating high business acumen and a proactive, solution-focused approach.
  • Strong partnering skills, a commitment to continuous learning, and the ability to support and mentor team members.
  • Experience in data analysis, reporting, and project management to drive process improvements.
