Senior Public Accounting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organization. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a solid grounding in public practice who's ready to step up into more responsibility.
The role involves preparing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships, as well as assisting with BAS, IAS, FBT, and payroll tax obligations. You will also support tax planning and business advisory projects, liaise with regulatory bodies on behalf of clients, and collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver accurate, timely advice.
To be successful in this role, you should have 2–4 years of experience in public practice accounting, hold strong knowledge of Australian tax and accounting standards, including Tax, FBT, and Capital Gains Tax, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills. Additionally, you should communicate with confidence and take a proactive approach to your work, and be comfortable using cloud-based accounting software such as Xero or MYOB.
