Role Overview

The role of Underground Truck Driver is an exciting opportunity for individuals to join our underground mining team.

About the Job:

This position involves operating underground trucks safely, effectively, and efficiently to meet operational requirements. You will be responsible for providing handovers and technical support to team members, maintaining excellent housekeeping standards, ensuring all pre-start checks are completed, and accurately reporting activities to Pitram.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate underground trucks in a safe and efficient manner to meet production targets.
  • Provide technical support and training to team members to ensure a high level of competency and compliance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company safety standards and regulations.
  • Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained and serviced to prevent equipment downtime.
  • Accurately record and report activities, including loading location and material type, to enable effective tracking and management of operations.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proven experience operating underground trucks in a similar environment.
  • Good understanding of mechanical principles and mobile plant maintenance.
  • Valid manual driver's license and Dangerous Goods and Working at Heights cards (desirable).

Work Arrangements

  • Rotating 8 days on, 6 days off roster with opportunities for FIFO arrangements from Perth or DIDO for local community members.
