Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Allied Health Assistant to join our team as a contractor. The successful candidate will provide mobile therapy support services to individuals and groups as per the directions of our Allied Health Professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide therapy support services to individuals and groups in the community setting.
- Liaise effectively within the multidisciplinary team and work autonomously and independently.
- Assist with client management and contribute to the smooth operation and ongoing development of the community rehab program.
- Perform administrative duties as required.
- Completion of Certificate IV Allied Health Assistance or equivalent from a registered training organisation.
- Previous experience within a hospital or working with a multidisciplinary team is desirable.
- Sound interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work well within a team and relate to medical, nursing and Allied Health staff and patients.
- Sound knowledge base of medical terminology.
- High level of English literacy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously (within scope of practice).
- Sound computer skills.
- Confident in water.
