About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Allied Health Assistant to join our team at Plena Healthcare. As an Allied Health Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality clinical services to our clients in Residential Aged Care settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in Delivering Clinical Services: Work under the direction of physiotherapists and occupational therapists to deliver a consistently high standard of clinical service to clients.
  • Administrative Duties: Assist with administrative tasks, including collecting referrals, ordering equipment, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Client Support: Provide support to clients in Residential Aged Care settings, including transporting residents to and from therapy sessions and setting up and packing away equipment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with physiotherapists and occupational therapists to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Professional Development: Participate in mentoring, supervision, and appraisals to ensure ongoing professional development and growth.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Minimum Cert III Allied Health Assistant or equivalent.
  • Australian Working Rights: Hold Australian working rights.
  • Healthcare Knowledge: Possess knowledge of healthcare principles and practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Clinical Knowledge: Possess knowledge of clinical procedures and protocols.
  • Drivers License: Hold a valid drivers license and have access to a reliable vehicle.
