Job Title: Beverage Service Associate

We are seeking an enthusiastic Beverage Service Associate to work in a fast-paced environment serving staff, patients, and visitors. As a key member of the food service team, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and building rapport with customers and colleagues.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience using commercial espresso coffee machines and preparing a variety of coffees. You will also use a Point of Sale system and handle cash accurately. Prioritising workload to meet tight time schedules is essential, as well as maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and manual handling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a commercial espresso coffee machine and prepare a range of coffees for customers
  • Use a Point of Sale system and handle cash accurately
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Prioritise workload to meet tight time schedules
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and manual handling

Requirements

  • Experience using a commercial espresso coffee machine and making a range of coffees in a café, restaurant or similar hospitality environment
  • Experience with Point of Sale / cash handling
  • Outstanding people skills and the ability to build rapport
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • Well-organised with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Strong awareness of food safety and WHS standards
  • Full Australian working rights
