About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Terminal Coordinator Cadet. As a cadet, you will have the opportunity to choose from a range of certificates, including Cert III in Business, Cert III in Driver Operations, Cert III in Supply Chain Logistics, and Cert III in Information Technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate the daily transport function of your portfolio of customers, ensuring delivery and receipt of cargo is completed within allocated timeslots and account requirements.
  • Ensure all customer requirements are met by recording special instructions, such as reefer temperatures, delivery times, and correct sizes of containers.
  • Update customers on additional costs, such as storage and penalty costs.
  • Effectively respond to customer enquiries and issues via phone and email.
  • Problem solve using your own initiative and keep Qube customers and major clients updated on transportation issues.
  • Manage data by inputting and extracting information from System Maximas with 100% accuracy.
  • Create and provide accurate client booking and release details as requested.
  • Allocate jobs to drivers throughout the shift to achieve operational requirements.
  • Provide drivers with required delivery paperwork.
  • Set up requirements for shift bulk runs and transshipments as required.
  • Track and record all trailer drop outs to reduce risk of equipment loss.
