Macropus Global Ltd is seeking an expert in Data Analyst and Data Administrator for a fulltime position in British Columbia. The ideal candidate will have experience in administration in multiple domains.

Job Summary:

  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
  • Advanced statistical techniques and concepts, including regression and statistical tests.
  • Mine and analyze company database to drive product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies.
  • Train individuals and corporate customers on Data analysis and setup.
  • Experience with Data Analysis operations using different tools.
  • Implementation and maintenance of branching, merging, and build/release strategies.
  • Functional usage and deployment of applications in Azure DevOps.
  • Experience working with DevOps and DevSecOps tools.
  • Migration and deployment of Applications with upgrade versions.
  • Cross-Platform Environments experience.
  • Task administration, including backups and file system disk space.
  • Agile development team collaboration to deliver continuous integration/continuous delivery.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting problems.
  • Excellent communication, analysis, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in supporting 24x7 production computing environments.

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong operational and financial data analysis.
  • Experience using statistical computer languages to manipulate data.
  • Assess the effectiveness of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
  • Develop custom data models and algorithms.
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Articulate complex data in business terms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A drive to learn new technologies.
  • Extract intelligence from data and present business insights.
  • Training and teaching experience on DevOps and DevSecOps.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex system performance issues.
