Life Skills and Transition Center - Grafton, ND - Direct Support Professional
We are seeking a skilled Support Professional to join our team at the Life Skills and Transition Center in Grafton, ND. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work with individuals to assist them in completing daily living activities and achieving their goals for independence and transition to community providers.
Your Responsibilities
• Assist individuals in identifying their goals for learning and practicing new skills, and what is important to them.
• Provide daily life activities such as personal hygiene, work/job, recreation/leisure, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Model effective communication and socialization interactions, and teach self-advocacy and self-help strategies.
• Observe, monitor, document, and report on the individuals' condition and progress both orally and in writing.
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED.
• No experience required; on-site training provided.
