Job Title: Environmental Monitoring Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Environmental Monitoring Specialist to join our team at Cataby operation. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about ensuring the highest standards of environmental health and safety.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental monitoring, with experience in conducting routine monitoring programs, collecting and analyzing data, and reporting on results. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine environmental monitoring programs to ensure compliance with statutory legislation obligations and company environmental, health and safety procedures.
  • Collect and analyze data from various sources, including laboratory and field instruments.
  • Prepare and submit reports on monitoring results, highlighting any issues or concerns.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new monitoring programs and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including operations, maintenance, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of environmental monitoring activities.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate or Diploma in Laboratory Practices, Hygiene or Environmental Monitoring.
  • Experience in environmental monitoring, with a strong background in conducting routine monitoring programs.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
