We are seeking experienced Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our team as Transport Officers, working closely with hospital staff to ensure seamless patient care.

About the Role:

This permanent position involves providing clinical oversight and support during non-emergency patient transport, ensuring safe, timely, and respectful care.

  • Drive ambulances, prioritizing vehicle and patient safety
  • Assist patients during entry and exit, and provide continuous support throughout their journey
  • Collaborate with health professionals to facilitate smooth patient handovers

As a Transport Officer, you will thrive in dynamic situations, responding calmly and efficiently to meet the needs of patients and teams.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 1+ years post-graduate experience as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse
  • Experience in Patient Transport or Emergency Department settings is highly valued
  • Current and unrestricted AHPRA registration
  • Class C Unrestricted Driver's License with a safe driving record
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills
  • A calm and compassionate approach under pressure
  • National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Full Australian working rights
