Job Summary
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for carrying out servicing and repairs to customer and company-owned equipment, with a focus on elevated work platforms and telehandlers in the field and workshop as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections, servicing, and repairs of equipment, prioritizing elevated work platforms, telehandlers, and lighting towers.
- When attending customer sites, strive to repair machines on-site, minimizing the need for transportation.
- Be available for travel, including overnight accommodations, when requested.
- Ensure completion of all necessary paperwork and inspection forms in accordance with JLG policy, Australian Standards, and customer/site requirements.
- Be prepared to work in the workshop when no field service jobs are available.
- Notify the Field Service Coordinator if repairs or services cannot be completed during the visit and provide the reason.
- As a Field Service Technician, you will also be responsible for performing general duties as requested by the Branch Manager.
