Job Title: Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our supportive, respectful and professional workplace within the NDIS space.

You will be working within a passionate multi-disciplinary team, which includes Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Behaviour Support Practitioners, and Exercise Physiologists.

  • Provide high quality therapeutic interventions in a professional, confidential and culturally safe manner.
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments (using clinical observations and standardised assessments) and interpret findings to formulate treatment goals.
  • Support Participants and other stakeholders to develop and review support plans.
  • Collaborate with other Health Professionals and key stakeholders regarding client's care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Social work and welfare service delivery for mental health consumers
  • Mental health assessment and diagnosis of adults across the lifespan
  • Development and implementation of evidence-based treatment plans
  • Individualised and group therapy sessions
  • Participation in ongoing education and training activities related to best practice in mental health
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Provisional Psychologist
  • A high standard for of professional ethics
  • Working with Children's Check and Police check
  • Drivers Licence and access to own car
