Mental Health Specialist Position

As a dedicated mental health specialist, you will join a supportive and professional workplace within the NDIS space.

You will work within a passionate multi-disciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, behaviour support practitioners, and exercise physiologists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based, and client-centred interventions professionally, confidentially, and culturally safely.
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments using clinical observations and standardized tools, interpreting findings to set treatment goals.
  • Effectively manage your caseload to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Support participants and stakeholders in developing and reviewing individualized support plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders regarding client care.
  • Compile accurate case notes, reports, and correspondence according to standards, legislative, and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Provisional Psychologist.
  • High standards of professional ethics and integrity.
  • A valid Working with Children's Check and Police check.
  • A provisional driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
