About the Role
  • The R&D Technologist will develop new savoury snack and culinary products through customer partnerships and innovation.
  • This includes learning and developing necessary skills to competently develop customised solutions, product testing, and supporting customer trials.
  • Working in partnership with customers to develop innovative new concepts as well as renovating current products.
  • Our R&D team collaborates with a global network of chefs, marketing, and sensory experts to deliver products to market within launch timescales.
Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for product development from initiation to launch, communicating with R&D, commercial, process engineers, quality, suppliers, and manufacturing teams.
  • Focus on developing savoury snack seasonings, culinary dry savoury seasonings, and other relevant products.
  • Participate in designated R&D projects to ensure developed products are cost-competitive and commercially viable.
  • Maintain good laboratory practices and protocols, evolve record documentation, and maintain equipment.
  • Facilitate trials and first productions of new product commercialisations.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Food Science or related field.
  • Strong team player, interpersonal, organisational, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to solve complex problems analytically and creatively.
  • Meet deadlines, work independently or as part of a team, and handle multiple tasks with speed and accuracy.
