Our team is seeking a dedicated professional to support our sustainability initiatives in Western Australia.

The ideal candidate will have experience in cultural heritage management, including tangible and intangible aspects.

  • Key responsibilities include facilitating acceptance of business practices by stakeholders through technical support, developing long-term plans for land access and cultural heritage management, and maintaining accurate records of engagement activities and stakeholder interactions.
  • Additionally, the successful candidate will negotiate and manage land access agreements with stakeholders, develop positive relationships with Native Title holders, Traditional Owners, and landowners, and work closely with operations and exploration teams.

About You

  • We are looking for candidates with previous experience in cultural heritage management, a tertiary qualification in a social science discipline, and a strong desire to develop new relationships with local landowners.
  • Candidates should also possess a working knowledge of Australian Native Title requirements and a high-level understanding of standards relating to Indigenous rights, human rights, preservation of cultural heritage, and land access.
  • Furthermore, we require candidates to be able to engage and negotiate with diverse stakeholders, possess strong situational awareness and judgement, and be proficient in GIS software and Microsoft Office.
  • A full work right in Australia and National Police Clearance are also required.
