About the Role:
McLean Care is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Employees and Domestic Assistants in the Tamworth area.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable people in your community.
As a Home Care Employee, you will provide high-quality care and support to clients in their homes, promoting their independence and well-being.
As a Domestic Assistant, you will assist with household duties and daily living tasks, helping clients maintain their dignity and quality of life.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Essential Skills:
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstration of empathy and a caring approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Access to a reliable vehicle
- Ability to plan and organize tasks
- Competence in using digital technology, including smartphones and tablets
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks
Qualifications:
- Qualified Home Care Employee - Certificate III Individual Support or equivalent
- Domestic Assistant roles available for those currently studying or passionate about supporting the elderly
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR or willingness to obtain
- Current unrestricted Australian Driver's License
