Store Operations Assistant

The ideal candidate will have the ability to maintain a safe and efficient store environment, ensuring accurate goods receipt, picking, and recording of all stock movements.

This role is responsible for supporting the effective operation of the warehouse, including ordering, receiving, and dispatching parts as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure inventory management systems are accurately updated for receivals, spare parts management, returns, quarantine, dispatch, and rebuildable assets.
  • Maintain critical equipment registers and calibrations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safety culture and personal conduct.
  • Work collaboratively with others to achieve workshop goals and objectives.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy workspace with accurate record keeping and stock movement.
  • Have 2-3 years experience in warehouse operations, hold a forklift ticket, and C Class driver's license.
  • Possess high-level problem-solving skills, excellent time management, and attention to detail.

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to ensure the stacking and racking of goods.
  • Develop strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a team.
  • Adapt and be resilient in a fast-paced environment.
