About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Hope Community Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and supportive environment for young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Develop and implement personalized plans to support young people in achieving their goals and aspirations.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment.
  • Participate in regular training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the safety and well-being of young people.
Requirements
  • Minimum Certificate III in Community Services, Youth Work, or a related field.
  • Experience working with young people, particularly those with complex needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with young people and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
