About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our team at The International Society For Bayesian Analysis. As a leading organization in the field of Bayesian analysis, we are committed to advancing knowledge and promoting excellence in research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in Bayesian mathematics and statistics, with a focus on applied mathematics and theoretical statistics.
  • Develop research collaborations with our team and external partners to advance our understanding of Bayesian analysis.
  • Assist with grant writing and publishing original research in top-tier journals.
  • Develop and maintain a strong research profile, including the organization of seminars, conferences, and outreach activities.
  • Enhance relationships with stakeholders through research and development, commercialization, improved practices, and policy development.
About You

We are looking for a highly qualified candidate with a Ph.D. (or near completion) in mathematics or statistics, with primary research interests in applied mathematics, theoretical statistics, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of research excellence, demonstrated evidence of independent research ability, and experience in research record keeping, preparation of research papers, and presentation of seminars.
