Job Summary

This role involves setting up and operating vertical form fill seal (VFFS) machines to ensure efficient daily production. The ideal candidate will have experience with similar automated packaging equipment, preferably in the food or FMCG sector.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Configure VFFS machines for optimal performance
  • Perform pre-shift safety checks on equipment and surroundings
  • Maintain high-quality packaging standards and monitor machine efficiency
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce downtime
  • Diagnose minor mechanical issues to minimize production interruptions
  • Accurately record production metrics and stats
Requirements:
  • Prior experience with VFFS or comparable automated packaging machinery is required
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills are essential
  • A proactive attitude with a focus on teamwork is crucial
  • Ability to work safely in a controlled temperature environment is necessary
  • Physical ability to handle items weighing up to 10kg is required
Work Environment:
  • Flexible scheduling with availability for day and afternoon shifts
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if needed
