As a Hospital Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment and make a meaningful impact on patient care.
The role of the Hospital Assistant is critical in supporting and assisting staff and patients within the healthcare unit. Under the guidance of nursing professionals, the Hospital Assistant works collaboratively to provide high-quality clinical services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with their daily activities as required
- Transport patients safely within the hospital
- Maintain inventory and ensure availability of necessary supplies
- Demonstrate sound judgment in identifying situations requiring assistance from a Registered Nurse
- Respond promptly to emergency requests for assistance from clinical staff
- Ensure adherence to cleaning protocols consistent with organisational standards
- Provide administrative support as needed
Key Qualifications:
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting
- Exceptional customer service skills
