Opportunities for Clinical Educators

We have multiple part-time positions available for clinical educators to teach and mentor novice speech pathologists. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic team, providing supervision and support to students on their first or second placement experience.

Clinical educators will be based in our award-nominated Early Intervention clinics, collaborating with healthcare providers and working with students across various locations:

  • Elizabeth GP Plus
  • Gilles Plains GP Plus
  • Swallowcliffe Precinct (kindergarten and childcare)

The role involves group-based supervision of four students per 12-week rotation. Students see clients under your guidance, working in pairs to assess children with developmental delay and difficulties. This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor speech pathology students
  • Provide clinical education and training
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers

Requirements:

  • Speech Pathology qualification and eligibility to register with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Experience working as a Speech Pathologist with children

Desirable Skills:

  • Clinical education experience with speech pathology students
