"Merchandise Insights and Reporting Team Lead"

We are seeking a skilled and experienced leader to head our Merchandise Analysis and Reporting Team. As the ideal candidate, you will have a strong analytical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering actionable insights to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Analytics Partnering: Collaborate with commercial stakeholders to identify opportunities for optimization and simplification of reporting, translating complex data into actionable recommendations and defining the process.
  • Insight Delivery: Provide timely and proactive insights to support strategic goals across commercial, utilizing tools like PowerBI and more to craft self-service reports and dashboards.
  • Scenario Modelling: Undertake and lead scenario modelling for commercial business cases, while managing the commercial budget process.
  • Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the adoption and value realization of solutions.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: A degree in Commerce, Marketing, Business Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar analytics role with a focus on partnering and providing actionable insights, demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in tools like Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, and familiarity with SQL and data management platforms.
  • Analytical Acumen: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing cross-functional projects and fostering team engagement.
  • Customer Focus: A deep understanding of customer needs and behaviors, with a focus on delivering insights that drive business success.
  • Growth Mindset: An eagerness to continuously learn and grow, sharing knowledge and expertise with the team and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, capable of developing innovative solutions to address business challenges.
