Account Development Manager

Job Description:
This is a fully autonomous field-based sales role covering Adelaide and the surrounding area. As an Account Development Manager, you will deal on a daily basis with purchasing managers, maintenance and production managers, and engineers.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling existing client accounts
- Sell a range of fluid system components to end-user customers and OEMs in the heavy equipment and industrial sector
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions
- Closure of deals over the phone by virtual meetings or face-to-face
Key Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in sales engineering or technical sales
- A proven track record of selling industrial products, including mechanical, electrical, automation, drives, and instrumentation
- Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
