Simulator Instructor Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Simulator Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training on Q300 or Q400 full flight simulators and synthetic flight training devices.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent operational expertise of company aircraft and equipment, as well as strong knowledge of flying operations and Regulations, Civil Aviation Orders, CASRs, and Advisory Circulars. A Frozen ATPL is also required. Additionally, the ability to conduct simulator training in approved synthetic fixed-based and full-motion simulators, as well as ground school duties, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct type rating, differences, command, remedial, and recency training for QantasLink flight crew
  • Deliver high-quality training programs that meet regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with other instructors and stakeholders to ensure seamless training delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in simulator technology

Requirements:

  • Frozen ATPL
  • Operational expertise of company aircraft and equipment
  • Strong knowledge of flying operations and Regulations, Civil Aviation Orders, CASRs, and Advisory Circulars
  • Ability to conduct simulator training in approved synthetic fixed-based and full-motion simulators
  • Ground school duties experience
