Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive security policies, standards, and controls to ensure best practice in infrastructure, DevOps, data, application, and cloud security outcomes.
  • Provide thought leadership in information security, develop strategies, and plans to enforce company-wide security requirements, address identified risks, and develop security awareness programs.
  • Design and implement network security and cloud security solutions on Azure and AWS, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Evaluate vendor technology solutions to ensure adherence to security policies and standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and best practices guidelines.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of security experience with key responsibilities in architecture and design, and 8+ years of varied overall IT security experience.
  • Hands-on experience in securing cloud environments across AWS and Azure.
  • Experience in vendor solution assessment and security-related platform and application experience.
  • Deep experience in security management frameworks, such as SOC2, ISO27001, and Australian Information Security prudential standards.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into easily understood pieces for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in a Web3/digital start-up or scale-up business is highly desirable.
