Emergency Veterinarian


Overview of the Role:

Our organization is seeking an experienced and skilled Emergency Veterinarian to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality veterinary care in a purpose-built 24-hour ECC and referral facility.

Key responsibilities of the role include providing veterinary care as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with specialists in various fields, participating in a sustainable roster, and engaging in ongoing professional development.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of experience working as an emergency or general practice veterinarian
  • Experience working in a busy multi-disciplinary hospital would be highly regarded
  • Ability to work a sustainable roster including day, night, and evening shifts
  • Comfortable working sole charge and managing routine emergency presentations
