Early Childhood Room Leader Opportunity
Are you an individual with a genuine passion for guiding young minds and fostering a nurturing environment? We seek a dedicated Early Childhood professional to join our team on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting and executing a curriculum that supports the overall development of each child, laying the groundwork for lifelong learning. This will involve leading by example, inspiring and mentoring a team of educators in delivering exceptional care and education.
A strong partnership with parents is essential, with open communication and cooperation necessary for the well-being and growth of every child. The role also involves introducing innovative teaching methods to maintain a dynamic and engaging learning atmosphere aligned with best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing educational programs that meet the needs of children
- Leading and mentoring a team of educators to deliver high-quality care and education
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with parents and the community
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements:
- Working towards or holding a minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Completion of child protection, Red Nose, and food safety training (or willingness to obtain)
- Familiarity with Child Safe Standards
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Framework (NQF)
