VFX Feature Film Production Specialist

The Senior Production Manager is a key figure in the VFX feature film production process. This individual works closely with producers and supervisors to design and implement an effective project plan, identifies solutions to complex challenges, and makes informed decisions about resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage line producers to define milestones for asset, shot, temp, and final deliverables.
- Collaborate with company schedulers and department heads to manage crew needs and visual effects workflow.
- Effective communication is essential as this role involves working with multiple teams.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in the VFX feature film industry, with a proven track record of delivering sequences at line producer or equivalent level.
Requirements:- Minimum 5 years of VFX feature film industry experience.
- Proven record of delivering sequences at line producer or equivalent level.
- Strong knowledge of visual effects to make informed decisions about crew allocations and resourcing.
- Project management experience.
- Proficiency in Excel and MS Project (or similar).
- Experience with database work.
- Ability to manage artists and clients.
A positive attitude, calm under pressure, and ability to meet tight deadlines are essential for success in this role.
Nice to Have:- Knowledge of Filemaker.
