This Audiologist role is a great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of clients who need hearing support.
You will work onsite at Launceston & Kings Meadows and be part of a team that supports children and adults with hearing health needs.
As an experienced Audiologist, you will assess and rehabilitate clients with auditory problems, provide guidance on communication strategies, and work collaboratively with teams to achieve excellent client outcomes.
With a strong focus on customer service, marketing, and business growth, this role offers a chance to develop your skills and expertise in Audiology.
Your Responsibilities- Assess the auditory problems of adult clients using established Australian practice methods and standards
- Provide support and rehabilitation to clients, including fitting hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and personal amplification devices
- Refer clients to other professionals or seek guidance from senior audiologists as needed
- Participate in providing services at visiting sites and home visits
- Liaise with National Disability Insurance Scheme representatives, allied health agencies, and families/carers to ensure best practice and outcomes for each client
- Undertake marketing/public relations activities in the community as required
- Provide excellent customer service, manage client load, and meet revenue targets
- Tertiary qualification in Audiology
- Full and current membership with the Audiology Society of Australia
- Sound knowledge of clinical Audiology and procedures in accordance with Australian Audiology standards
- Sound knowledge of the Hearing Services Program
- Exposure to the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) scheme
- Ability to travel to other locations to undertake clinical work
- Willingness to adapt to business changes and implement new clinical practices, products, and policies
