Job Description

As a Compliance Assurance Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our business activities are compliant with relevant legislation and company policies.

You will work closely with the Compliance team to identify and mitigate risks, and provide expert advice on compliance matters to the business units.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing specialized advice on compliance risk to the business units
  • Completing oversight activities designed to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Supporting the design and execution of the compliance testing and monitoring plan
  • Interpreting legislation and regulatory guidance, assessing impact, and developing practical operational guidance
  • Independently testing and validating the effectiveness of key controls
  • Preparing comprehensive reports for management, committees, and regulatory bodies
Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Compliance or Risk professional
  • Experience assisting business units in ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of compliance risk and compliance frameworks for businesses in regulated industries
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with competing priorities
