Health Coach Role Overview:

Prestige Health Services Australia is seeking experienced allied health professionals to deliver telehealth health coaching services to participants with injury, illness or disability.

The role involves supporting participants to overcome psychosocial obstacles impacting recovery and return to work using a standardized health coaching program.

We are looking for individuals with an understanding of the workers compensation industry and experience in occupational rehabilitation, vocational assessments, and job seeking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver telehealth health coaching services to participants with injury, illness or disability
  • Support participants to overcome psychosocial obstacles impacting recovery and return to work
  • Use a standardized health coaching program to achieve program objectives
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in occupational rehabilitation, vocational assessments, and job seeking
  • Strong counselling skills and ability to work with diverse client groups
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work with technology, including telehealth platforms
  • AASW or AHPRA membership
