Lifestyle and Wellbeing Professional

We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of veterans and seniors.

As a Lifestyle and Wellbeing Assistant, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating activities and lifestyle programs that promote wellbeing and independence. You will work collaboratively with your team to deliver positive outcomes for residents and embody a person-centred approach.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Support the goals of care for residents in partnership with each resident and/or their representative
  • Identify barriers that prevent consumers from participating in meaningful and enjoyable activities
  • Encourage wellbeing and independence by supporting residents to engage in preferred activities and interests
  • Participate in risk management and continuous quality improvement activities
  • Build strong and productive relationships with your team to deliver positive outcomes for residents

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A fantastic outlook on life with a fun personality
  • Experience working in Lifestyle/Recreational Activities teams in Aged Care/Disability/Community services (desirable)
  • A sound understanding of aged care and the principles guiding this sector
  • General computer skills
  • Australian work rights

Please note that it is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or National Disability Insurance Scheme check to undertake the inherent requirements of the role.
