IT Systems Change Manager

This is a challenging role for an IT professional to oversee the planning, approval, and implementation of changes to government IT systems and services.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, approve, and implement changes to government IT systems and services with minimal disruption and alignment with business objectives.
- Manage the scheduling, coordination, and deployment of software releases, patches, and updates in line with government policies and procedures.
- Evaluate risks, impacts, and benefits of proposed changes and releases, ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are in place.
- Ensure all changes and releases undergo appropriate testing, validation, and quality assurance processes before deployment.
- Maintain detailed records of all changes and releases, producing regular reports for senior management on performance, compliance, and outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills enabling effective problem-solving and decision-making.
- Proactive with a strong personal drive and a positive attitude.
- Committed to supporting and maintaining work products with discipline and accountability.
- Demonstrates respect and professionalism upholding high integrity and transparency in all tasks.
- Possesses excellent communication skills, attention to detail, creative thinking, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Encourages knowledge sharing, teamwork, and collaboration by actively engaging with stakeholders and team members.
- A current active security clearance.
- Relevant knowledge gained through experience.
